How we operate
MT28 supports Silvio Teixeira and his wife Giovana, missionaries who have dedicated their lives to preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in that country. Currently, they have worked directly in the Lisbon area, covering the cities of Sintra and Cascais, supporting churches in Porto and Braga. Furthermore, they have cooperated with another missionary, Gerson Balbino, in the Algarve region, in the south of Portugal.
In addition to their efforts in preaching the Gospel and caring for the church, they have been a great support to other missionaries who have been through Portugal on flights to other countries. The early morning work, bringing hot soup to homeless people, has also been part of the daily life of the church in Cascais, and the fruits of this work have already been reaped.
Become a MT28 partner and help missionaries and the church in Portugal to preach the word of the Kingdom of God in Europe. Certainly, the economic situation and beauty of Europe create a false sense of fulfillment, but the reality of this country and continent is one of total spiritual coldness and lack of God’s love. Missionary work has been extremely important in rescuing the lost and empty lives, restoring destroyed families and welcoming other foreigners who seek refuge in Portugal.
